Dawn Bowden - Lead Facilitator
I believe in the power of the arts and how it can connect and empower people and communities. My aim is to improve the self confidence, self discipline, and self respect of the people I work with irrespective of who they are, or what they can or can't do. I have over 30 years experience of working in the Arts and for the past 15 years I have developed my work with children and adults who have learning difficulties as well as other 'hard to reach' and disadvantaged individuals and groups. The individual voice and needs of the people I work with, whether it is to discover, explore, develop or perform, is central to all the work I do. Grace Davey - Musician and Facilitator
I believe that creative working can be empowering to all. I am currently a student at The University of Derby studying Creative Expressive Therapies specialising in Music. I have had experience of working creatively and musically with people with learning difficulties for many years. I incorporate Music into sessions, allowing freedom of rhythm to be explored, song writing, and opportunities for individuals to discover music in any form or style. I have been a musician specialising in vocals and an instrumentalist in guitar for many years. Although I am at very early stages in my career I have great passion and drive for what I do and the creative process to getting there.
